Abstract

Nous montrons comment la formation de centres secondaires d'emploi au sein des grandes métropoles urbaines est de nature à restaurer la compétitivité des entreprises sans réduire pour autant le bien-être des travailleurs. Une telle stratégie de développement urbain est ainsi susceptible d'aider les grandes villes à maintenir leur rang dans la hiérarchie urbaine, tout préservant leur position sur les marchés internationaux.
