Abstract

Une enquête effectuée dans le Centre et la Bretagne en 1987 auprès de plusieurs centaines d'agriculteurs a montré une attitude en général assez favorable aux innovations techniques dont on leur avait proposé une liste. Sont particulièrement bien accueillis l'informatique de gestion, la fertilisation raisonnée, les services télématiques et, selon la région, les cultures à destination industrielle ou énergétique ou la poursuite de la sélection d'animaux et de variétés à très haut rendement. Mais le robot de labour, les accélérateurs de croissance, l'hormone de croissance, le robot de traite reçoivent une majorité d'avis défavorables. Une question relative aux améliorations que les agriculteurs aimeraient introduire sur leurs exploitations montre une attitude un peu plus réservée et une forte préférence pour l'informatique. Les résultats sont présentés pour les échantillons bruts et redresses et les variations des opinions selon diverses caractéristiques structurelles des exploitations sont également analysées.
