Abstract

Moroccan customs closed 2025 on record results: MAD 161 billion in revenue, seizures of smuggled goods up 36.6 %, contraband cigarettes multiplied by more than three. The press credited artificial intelligence. The administration's own activity report does not. It names something else: a rules engine, 269 targeting mechanisms, and one more scanner.
