A Graphical Interpretation of Regression with an Application to Tourism

Abstract

A geometrical interpretation of multiple regression is proposed. The method is explained within the context of the tourism industry by developing a model for the management of hotels. The paper first explains the technique in non-mathematical terms and is completed with the mathematical proof of the results.
