Le pole micro-electronique de l'aire metropolitaine marseillaise: emergence d'un milieu innovateur

Abstract

L'existence d'un tissu industriel et technologique en micro-electronique dans les Bouches-du-Rhone est aujourd'hui une indeniable realite, avec 25 a 30 % selin les estimations, de la production francaise dans le filiere du silicium. Ce document examine dans une premiere partie la dynamique historique de construction du tissu micro-electronique provencal ainsi que sa structure et son mode de fonctionnement actuel. Dans une seconde partie, les auteurs etudient le role des effets de proximite sur le renforcement de son ancrage territorial, sous le triple point de vue industriel, de recherche et formation, et institutionnel. Enfin, il examinent les perspectives de moyen-long terme du tissu, dans une optiqe de construction territoriale de ressources.
