El MFP 2028-2034: una propuesta que augura duros enfrentamientos políticos que no conducirán a resolver los problemas de la UE

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la propuesta de la Comisión Europea para el Marco Financiero Plurianual (MFP) 2028-2034, evaluando si cumple con los objetivos declarados de mayor ambición, simplificación y competitividad. Pese al aparente incremento nominal del 40% con respecto al MFP actual, la propuesta representa solo 0,02 puntos porcentuales adicionales de RNB cuando se excluyen los pagos de intereses del NextGenerationEU, evidenciando una ambición relativamente limitada que previsiblemente sufrirá recortes durante la negociación.
