Tablas de vida de decrementos múltiples: Mortalidad por causas en España (1975-2008)

  • Goerlich
Registered author(s):

    Este documento de trabajo analiza las tendencias recientes en las causas de muerte en España a partir de la información suministrada por las tablas de vida de decrementos múltiples. El análisis se extiende al máximo periodo disponible, 1975-2008, y ofrece información de carácter regional. Por otra parte, los indicadores utilizados se enmarcan en el contexto del seguimiento de la generación ficticia que hay detrás de las tablas de vida, un modelo firmemente asentado en el estudio de la mortalidad global. La ventaja del empleo de estos indicadores frente a los más habituales (tasas estandarizadas a partir de una población real y años potenciales de vida perdidos) consiste en el análisis de la mortalidad por causas dentro del marco conceptual del sistema de tablas de vida
