Tendencias del empleo y la productividad laboral en el sector agropecuario de Chile

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es el análisis de las tendencias del empleo y productividad laboral agrícola en Chile en las últimas dos décadas. Además de revisar la evolución absoluta y relativa del empleo y la productividad laboral media en el sector agropecuario, se analizan las características de este empleo y la evolución del costo laboral y las remuneraciones. Se hace énfasis en la evolución de la participación de la mujer en el mercado laboral y se presentan antecedentes sobre el nivel de sindicalización en el sector. El análisis incluye el contexto general en el cual el sector y la fuerza laboral se han desempeñado y las principales políticas públicas que han apoyado a este sector de la economía chilena.
