Abstract

Este informe examina si los bancos públicos de varios países seleccionados de América Latina promueven la inclusión financiera para la inserción productiva de las empresas de menor porte; y cómo lo hacen. El enfoque del análisis se centra en estudiar si estas instituciones han innovado en el sentido de implementar instrumentos financieros —financiamiento, fondos de garantía y asistencia técnica— adecuados al perfil de la demanda preponderante entre las empresas de menor porte: capacitación empresarial en desarrollo y relacionada a actividades económicas de baja complejidad y alta sensibilidad al ciclo económico.
