Conexiones de carga marítima entre Asia y el Pacífico y América Latina: análisis de fletes de transporte, sus determinantes y restricciones

Abstract

En este informe se analizan las principales conexiones marítimas de contenedores entre América Latina y Asia y el Pacífico, al mismo tiempo que se examina la conectividad (tal como la define la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Comercio y Desarrollo (UNCTAD)) y la evolución de los fletes marítimos de importación desde Asia. El informe contiene una muestra muy amplia del comercio interregional que se realiza a través de los servicios regulares de línea para contenedores, por lo que es posible tener una visión completa de sus características. Asimismo, a través del análisis de los datos y de las encuestas y entrevistas realizadas a actores relevantes del comercio marítimo regional, se abordan las condiciones, los obstáculos y las restricciones que podrían estar actuando como limitaciones concretas a la expansión del comercio birregional.
