Diferencial de ingresos y estructura de hogares: evidencia para Colombia a partir de la Encuesta Social de Fedesarrollo

Abstract

Este trabajo se suma a varios ya realizados en Colombia sobre diferenciales de ingresos mediante la utilización de una nueva fuente de datos -la Encuesta Social de Fedesarrollo- y una metodología de descomposición estática del diferencial. Se encontró que la variable crucial en explicar el diferencial de ingresos es la educación, no solo vía número de años de educación del jefe del hogar sino también a través de precios implícitos de la educación
