Instructivo para la incorporación de la evaluación económica en guías de práctica clínica[Handbook for the incorporation of economic analysis into clinical practice guidelines]

The paper presents the main methodological aspects to taking to account for making economic analysis in the context of a clinical practice guideline in a developing country. It is addressed to users of health economic analyses in order to enhance knowledge of what economic analyses are, their scope and limits, and to improve interaction between physicians and economists. The paper is based on the Colombian experience of making CPG´s with economic analysis, and makes evident the problems found in developing countries.
