Diferencias salariales asociadas a atributos ambientales en trece ciudades colombianas: una estimación de salarios hedónicos

Abstract

En el presente documento se identifican, a través de la estimación de un modelo de salarios hedónicos, las diferencias de salario entre las trece capitales más importantes de Colombia en el ano 2003. En particular, se incluyen el indicador de Confort Térmico y las tasas de homicidio para probar la hipótesis de la existencia de diferenciales de salario asociada a características ambientales y de convivencia y seguridad entre ciudades. Además, se construye un indicador de calidad de vida para comparar el bienestar entre ciudades.
