Evaluación de impacto de las nuevas declaraciones de intereses y patrimonio en Chile

Abstract

El presente informe aborda el impacto de la nueva ley de probidad a tres anos de su publicación, y consta de un análisis de dos partes. En primer lugar, se analiza el contenido de la ley y de cómo esta se compara con otras legislaciones de América Latina. En segundo lugar, y reconociendo que las intenciones de la ley –plasmadas en el contenido de esta- no siempre se condicen con su efectividad práctica, es que se evalúa el impacto que trajo la puesta en vigencia de la ley de probidad. En este resumen se discuten las principales conclusiones de ambas secciones, esto es, se revisan los avances y recomendaciones que se derivan de la primera y se discute la evidencia del impacto que tuvo la ley a la luz de la segunda.
