Una aproximación al concepto de desarrollo en Weber

Abstract

El referente teórico al que se nos ha acostumbrado mirar, cuando pretendemos establecer algún tipo de análisis sobre el desarrollo, ha sido aquel que pretende valorar el nivel de garantías de condiciones materiales de las cuales dispone inmediata o potencialmente un país.Bajo esta lógica, se formula la pregunta: ¿Cómo romper el círculo del subdesarrollo? , la respuesta no reviste ningún carácter novedoso, en cuanto que su obviedad e ingenuidad en la explicación es demasiado explícita y determinista, simplemente sería tener acceso al conocimiento técnico, mantenerlo y manejarlo. Pero efectivamente el asunto es mucho más complejo que una simple respuesta de esta índole. Aquí es necesario tener en cuenta una propuesta metodológica que contenga tanto determinantes internos como externos que se convierten en elementos fundamentales para comprender dicha dinámica que estará determinada por las condiciones históricas en lo social, lo político y lo económico en cada país, es decir por su formación social específica.
