Descomposición sectorial y dinámica del impacto de los precios del petróleo sobre el Crecimiento Económico en Colombia

Abstract

Este artículo forma parte de una investigación sobre los efectos de los precios de la energía e hidrocarburos sobre el crecimiento económico en Colombia. Se presenta la estimación de la contribución factorial (capital, trabajo y productividad factorial) al crecimiento agregado y sectorial y el impacto de los precios del petróleo a ambos niveles. Los resultados sugieren que existe un efecto simétrico de los precios al crecimiento agregado y sectorial. Los impactos sectoriales dinámicos, con base en modelos VAR estructurales confirman que los efectos son simétricos y explican significativamente cambios sobre el producto sectorial en los sectores más vinculados con el petróleo y sus derivados.
