Crisis Fiscal Actual: Diagn�Stico Y Recomendaciones

Abstract

Despu�s de la ejecuci�n del programa de ajuste fiscal y macroecon�mico aplicado entre 1999 y 2002, y de las medidas econ�micas tomadas por la actual administraci�n, se conoce que el pa�s no se encuentra a�n sobre una senda fiscal sostenible. Este documento recapitula integralmente el problema de las finanzas del gobierno y plantea algunas recomendaciones en materia de ingresos, gastos y deuda, con el fin de sanearlas y hacerlas sostenibles en el mediano y largo plazo. Haciendo un reconocimiento a los esfuerzos que han hecho las anteriores administraciones y la actual, el documento contribuye al debate que busca la adopci�n de nuevas y efectivas decisiones de pol�tica fiscal.
