Portrait des consommateurs québécois qui privilégient l’achat local de produits alimentaires

Abstract

Les consommateurs sont de plus en plus vigilants et exigeants sur la qualité des produits. L’étiquetage, la certification et les allégations servent de support à l’information des consommateurs et sont censés leur permettre de faire un choix éclairé. Les consommateurs accordent une grande valeur aux produits québécois. L’objectif de ce projet de recherche était de dresser un portrait des consommateurs qui privilégient l’achat local. Quatre grandes catégories de déterminants à l’achat local ont été analysées : les caractéristiques sociodémographiques, les caractéristiques de consommation, les valeurs des consommateurs et finalement les sources d’information utilisées.
