Coronavirus y educación. Un año después

Abstract

En septiembre de 2020 publiqué un documento de trabajo, luego de seis desde el inicio de la cuarentena, el cual centraba su interés en los costos de la misma. En particular, en educación los costos habían sido inmensos, su magnitud se perdía en la contabilidad diaria de contagios y muertes. El paper compilaba cronológicamente 19 notas que había publicado en Ámbito Financiero, Clarín, El Cronista Comercial, El Economista, Infobae, La Nación, Perfil y la Revista Criterio y concluía con una sección en la cual proponía una legislación que podría haber sido insospechadamente beneficiosa para miles de niños y jóvenes que no estaban recibiendo la educación de excelencia que es responsabilidad del Estado proveerles. Jamás me hubiese imaginado, en ese entonces, estar hoy escribiendo este ensayo, el cual compila cronológicamente las 20 notas que he publicado durante este último año. El mismo relaciona la realidad educativa que estamos viviendo con el contexto autoritario que ha caracterizado la lucha contra la pandemia en nuestro país, desde aquel lejano marzo de 2020.
