Entrevistas de Selección de Personal Mediadas por Tecnología: la perspectiva de selectores

Abstract

El objetivo principal de la investigación fue analizar las características de las entrevistas mediadas por tecnologías (EMTs) en Selección de Personal, desde la perspectiva de selectores de personal de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires y Conurbano Bonaerense. Para ello el estudio comprendió una muestra de veinte selectores de personal de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires y Conurbano Bonaerense. Además de las ventajas conocidas y estudiadas en investigaciones previas, como el ahorro de tiempo y dinero, se encontraron características específicas de las EMTs que, si bien, pueden relacionarse con la dinámica de las entrevistas cara a cara (ECCs), también muestran diferencias significativas que todo selector debe comprender para poder determinar el alcance y la aplicabilidad de esta modalidad de entrevista en los procesos de selección que lleve adelante, considerando variables como el tipo de perfil buscado, el tipo de empresa, su enfoque y cultura organizacional. A su vez, se hallaron resultados en relación con el rol del selector en la conducción de EMT, donde no solo se demanda el entrenamiento de las competencias base de su profesión, como la escucha activa, empatía y la capacidad analítica, sino además el desarrollo de otras habilidades técnicas y de dominio tecnológico, juntamente con destrezas de interacción virtual, flexibilidad y creatividad.
