Trade And Inequality: The Role Of Vertical Specialization And Outsourcing

Abstract

This paper shows how the process of outsourcing results in economic changes in factor usage and productivity in developed countries that might be misinterpreted to be biased skilled-labor using technological change. Presented at the 13th International Conference,Istanbul, San Antonio, Texas, May 2004.
