Escalafón Global de ciudades para la atracción de inversión industrial en la Cuenca del Pacífico Latinoamericano

Abstract

En la actualidad, los inversionistas y en especial los de la industria manufacturera, carecen de suficiente información que les permita conocer cuál es la ciudad del Pacífico Latinoamericano que ofrece las mejores condiciones para localizar su industria. Para tal efecto, se desarrolló en este documento el Escalafón Global de Ciudades para la Atracción de Inversión Industrial en la Cuenca del Pacífico Latinoamericano, con fundamento en seis pilares para la atractividad de inversión extranjera, estimado mediante la metodología de análisis de componentes principales de los rangos. Los resultados indican que las ciudades más atractivas para la inversión industrial, fueron aquellas localizadas en países con economías sólidas, acompañadas de una infraestructura portuaria eficiente y considerables niveles de innovación, ciencia y tecnología.
