Abstract

The province of Alicante (Spain) is one of the most attractive areas to German retirees owning a house to live. Revicval survey is a project where we ask to a sample of Germans retirees different aspects of their housing decision, both sociological and economic. The aim is to analyse the impact on housing markets resulting from the concentration of this type of migration and also the existing differences with other nationalities like British. We also check for their welfare living in this region and their perception of the cost of living differences.
