La evaluación de políticas públicas en la Argentina: Sentido, actualidad y perspectivas

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza la naturaleza del desafío estratégico que en la actualidad encara el Estado argentino en términos de la institucionalización de la evaluación de políticas. Para ello el documento enmarca a la institucionalización de la evaluación como uno de los procesos específicos de las reformas de gestión estatal (prestando atención a las enseñanzas de las reformas administrativas, a la evaluación como práctica de gestión y a experiencias internacionales comparadas sobre la manera de institucionalizar procesos de evaluación de políticas); lleva adelante un diagnóstico de la función de evaluación en el Estado argentino; identifica las condiciones para fortalecer las capacidades de evaluación de políticas y, finalmente, arriba a conclusiones y recomendaciones.
