Abstract

The creamery industry of this country is now developed to such an extent that in most dairy sections competition has become very and creamery operators in order to be successful must use every means within their power to keep their operating expenses to a minimum and at the same time market their products to the best possible advantage. It is not the purpose of this article to describe in detail an outline that should be followed in all cases, nor is it intended to discuss the various subjects from a technical standpoint. It is written rather with the object of pointing out, along practical lines, opportunities for creameries to improve and increase their business that are frequently overlooked, and which if embraced would in many instances place them on a more successful basis.
