Abstract

Excerpt from the Preface: This bibliography covers many aspects of safflower production and utilization in the United States and in foreign countries. It includes references to plant physiology, cytology, morphology, economics, and statistics. The citations pertain mainly to the cultivated species of safflower, Carthamus tinctorius, but some references to other species and varieties are included and may be found by consulting the subject index.
