Cattle: Final Estimates 1989-93

Abstract

This publication contains final cattle and cattle on feed estimates. including some revisions. made by the Agricultural Statistics Board for the period 1989-1993. This report continues the official series published in Statistical Bulletin No. 798. issued January 1990. Data covered include annual and semiannual estimates by classes for cattle inventory and calf crop. Number of operations. operation and inventory by size group estimates are also included. Final estimates of cattle on feed for all States as of January 1. quarterly estimates for 13 major feeding States. and monthly estimates for 7 States are also included. Estimates contained in this publication provide a historical record and benchmark for current estimates.
