Abstract

Cet article examine le marché et la réglementation des pesticides1 en Guinée. En tant que membre du CILSS2, de la CEDEAO3 et un des quatre pays du projet HIP4, la Guinée s’est engagée à créer des institutions nationales réglementaires nécessaires pour mettre en œuvre le règlement communautaire des pesticides prévu dans la région de l’Afrique de l’Ouest. Cette étude fait l’état des lieux des progrès réalisés jusqu'à présent dans l’application au niveau de la Guinée de ces politiques régionales des pesticides mutuellement convenues. Faisant partie des sept pays retenus pour des études de cas comparatives, ce travail vise à explorer les raisons de l’inégalité dans la mise en œuvre des politiques régionales sur les pesticides.5
