Mise En Œuvre Des Politiques Regionales Sur Les Pesticides En Afrique De L’Ouest : Rapport De L’Etude De Cas En Cote D’Ivoire

Abstract

Cet article examine le marché et la réglementation des pesticides1 en Côte d’Ivoire. En tant que membre du CILSS2, de la CEDEAO3 et du projet HIP4, la Côte d’Ivoire s’est engagée à plusieurs niveaux et à plusieurs reprises dans les discussions d’harmonisation des institutions nationales et régionales de règlementation des pesticides dans l’Afrique de l’Ouest. Cette étude fait l’état des lieux des progrès réalisés jusqu'à présent dans l’application au niveau de la Côte d’Ivoire de ces politiques régionales des pesticides mutuellement convenues. Faisant partie des sept pays5 retenus pour des études de cas comparatives, ce travail vise à explorer les raisons de l’inégalité dans la mise en œuvre des politiques régionales sur les pesticides.
