Besonderheiten der landwirtschaftlichen Kreditmärkte

Abstract

[Einleitung und Lernziele] Der steigende Einsatz von Kapital hat für die betriebliche und sektorale Wettbewerbsfähigkeit im Zeitablauf eine zunehmende Bedeutung erlangt. Veränderung in den Faktorpreisrelationen und technische Fortschritte erfordern vermehrten Kapitaleinsatz in landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben. Da Eigenkapital häufig nicht ausreichend zur Verfügung steht, ist zunehmender Einsatz von Fremdfinanzierung weit verbreitet. Der Kapitaleinsatz kann über Kredite, auch über andere Instrumente erweitert werden, z.B. durch persönliche Beteiligung in der Form von Personengesellschaften oder durch Verkauf von Kapitelanleihen oder Aktien bei Kapitalgesellschaften. In der marktwirtschaftlich organisierten Landwirtschaft ist aber die Erweiterung des Kapitaleinsatzes vorrangig durch Aufnahme von Krediten zu beobachten. In diesem Kapitel soll daher insbesondere auf den Kreditmarkt eingegangen werden und gezeigt werden, dass der landwirtschaftliche Kreditmarkt sich erheblich von anderen sektoralen Kreditmärkten unterscheidet und es daher auch Anlass für staatliche Eingriffe in den landwirtschaftlichen Kreditmarkt geben kann.
