Ingreso Familiar de Emergencia: ¿Una oportunidad para el empoderamiento femenino?

Abstract

El trabajo aporta evidencia empírica sobre el impacto del Ingreso Familiar de Emergencia implementado en Argentina en el empoderamiento femenino. Utilizando diferentes Encuestas de Hogares, se identifica el intention to treat comparando mujeres elegibles con no elegibles para percibir la transferencia y se utiliza la metodología de diferencias en diferencias para medir el impacto. Se encuentra que la participación de las mujeres en el ingreso de la pareja aumentó un 8%, en el ingreso del hogar un 11% y la probabilidad de que sean las únicas responsables de los quehaceres hogareños cayó un 4% a partir del ingreso de emergencia.
