Abstract

Die Gewährleistung der Daseinsvorsorge ist in ländlichen Räumen zunehmend mit großen Herausforderungen verbunden. Diese Problematik wird in Grenzräumen verstärkt, weil Einzugsbereiche von Einrichtungen der Daseinsvorsorge nicht ausgeschöpft werden, wenn diese von nationalen Grenzen durchschnitten sind. Trotz zahlreicher Barrieren sind im Zuge grenzüberschreitender Kooperation viele Einrichtungen der Daseinsvorsorge entstanden, die daher grenzüberschreitend genutzt werden können. Durch die Grenzschließungen im Zuge der Corona-Pandemie waren die Räume um diese Einrichtungen von Versorgungslücken bedroht. In diesem Artikel wird untersucht, welche Auswirkungen die Corona-Pandemie auf grenzüberschreitend genutzte Dienstleistungen und Infrastrukturen der Daseinsvorsorge in der Großregion hatte und wie in grenzüberschreitenden Kooperationen mit dieser Problematik umgegangen wurde.
