Abstract

Viele ländliche Räume sind geprägt durch eine wechselseitige Verstärkung von strukturellen, wirtschaftlichen und demographischen Herausforderungen. Interessanterweise gibt es seit einiger Zeit Bestrebungen, diese Herausforderungen auch mit unternehmerischen Mitteln zu bewältigen. Infolgedessen lassen sich zahlreiche sozialunternehmerische Initiativen beobachten, deren Protagonisten gesellschaftliche Verantwortung übernehmen und Veränderungsprozesse initiieren wollen. Dabei erlangen sogenannte Potenzialentwickler eine besondere Bedeutung, da sie innovative Lösungsansätze entwickeln und das Leistungsvermögen der Menschen vor Ort systematisch fördern.
