Siedlungsstrukturelle Leitbilder und Konzepte: An den Klimawandel angepasst?

Abstract

Städte sind in besonderer Weise von den Auswirkungen des Klimawandels betroffen. Um den Gefahren entgegenzuwirken, sind neben Anpassungsmaßnahmen in den gefährdeten Bereichen großräumige Handlungsansätze erforderlich. Der Beitrag bewertet die Eignung bestehender siedlungsstruktureller Leitbilder und Konzepte für die neue stadtregionale Aufgabe der Klimaanpassung. Dazu werden aus dem Resilienzkonzept Bewertungskriterien abgeleitet. Keines der betrachteten Modelle wurde unter dem Aspekt der Klimaanpassung entwickelt, sodass sie daraufhin weiterentwickelt werden sollten. Aufbauen können Leitbilder und Konzepte für klimaangepasste Siedlungsstrukturen auf den Modellen der Dezentralen Konzentration und den Punkt-axialen Modellen, welche bereits viele Bewertungskriterien erfüllen.
