Verantwortung, Versorgung, Entwicklung: Daseinsvorsorge zwischen Kooperation und Wettbewerb

Abstract

Der Begriff Daseinsvorsorge gehört zum allgemein anerkannten Vokabular der Raumplanung und kann auf eine fast 100-jährige Geschichte zurückblicken. Neue Entwicklungen im Kontext der Globalisierung, wachsender europäischer Einflüsse und der neuen Leitbilder und Handlungsstrategien für die Raumentwicklung von 2006 führen zu einer veränderten Sichtweise und einer neuen Definition von Inhalt und Umfang der Daseinsvorsorge und der Positionierung zwischen ausgleichsorientierter Raumplanung und wettbewerbsorientierter Raumentwicklung. Dieser Artikel blickt zurück auf die Bedeutung des Begriffs Daseinsvorsorge und ordnet ihn in die aktuellen Debatten aus den Perspektiven des ländlichen Raums und der Stadtregionen ein. Abschließend wird der Versuch gewagt, eine Verbindung von Daseinsvorsorge und Wettbewerb als komplementäre Aufgabenfelder zu schaffen und hierbei noch offene Fragen herauszuarbeiten.
