Abstract

This research presents the theory and methodological framework for managing the technological development of enterprises based on sustainable development principles, focusing on the needs of Russian industrial companies. The authors explored key approaches to understanding the essence of technological development in industrial enterprises. Utilizing the proposed model for organizing technological development within industrial enterprises, the research systematizes tasks related to technological management and develops a structural model for a system to manage technological development. The authors rely on advanced technologies that align with sustainable development principles, enabling the diversification of production and a swift transition to manufacturing new products. This approach considers the entire innovation cycle, from inception to the release of the final product. The research concludes that, in accordance with the sustainable development concept, the introduction of new technologies and equipment must consider electrical, chemical, radiation, and environmental safety. Using a real-world business enterprise as an example, the research identifies the principles and priorities of a technological development program within the framework of implementing a corresponding strategy. Additionally, the research proposes a model of “open innovation,” which facilitates extensive collaboration with partner organizations to execute joint innovative technological projects.
