Abstract

In today’s environment, there is a growing need for research on entrepreneurial ecosystems. It is important to address the issue of how they achieve sustainable development goals. This research examines this issue in view of the growing interest in entrepreneurship and the need to achieve sustainable development. The research began in the 1990s with three stages of development. We are currently in the fourth research phase within the framework of sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems. This research details the fourth wave of studies on achieving sustainable development by the said ecosystems. Research on the key factors that directly impact entrepreneurial ecosystems striving to achieve sustainable development is a massive area of debate. Analyzing ecosystem comparisons across regions based on quantitative data is an important field for researchers. Current research conducted by economists highlights the significant impact of entrepreneurship on society’s economic benefits. Entrepreneurship drives important economic transformations, which are crucial in achieving sustainable development in economies worldwide. In this regard, creating the conditions to form and integrate entrepreneurial ecosystems is vital because their functioning is extremely important to conduct business and achieve sustainable entrepreneurship.
