Abstract

This research is the result of an interdisciplinary analysis and application of various approaches to understanding criminal activity and its threats to the development of a green entrepreneurial economy. The hypothesis of this research is that peace, justice, and effective institutions are interconnected goals of sustainable development for Russia and the world. These goals are hindered by various types of domestic and transnational criminal activities, which indirectly or directly impede the development of a green entrepreneurial economy and the achievement of the country’s technological sovereignty. The transfer of acquired interdisciplinary knowledge and the exploration of unknown patterns improve our understanding of the structure of economic and legal realities and their components. Any criminal activity inflicts varying degrees of harm to the environment and the country’s sustainable development. This research utilized results from investigative and judicial practices, as well as statistical data on economic development. The authors reviewed products of the green entrepreneurial economy and made a forecast for its development. Additionally, the authors examined the influence of criminal activity on the development of the green entrepreneurial economy and considered advanced practices for involving citizens in the development of this phenomenon for the prevention and anti-criminal activities of the state.
