Abstract

Zusammenfassung Trotz methodischer und methodologischer Schwierigkeiten bieten Unterrichtsvergleiche über kulturelle und nationale Grenzen hinweg einen spezifischen und durch andere Vorgehensweisen nicht zu ersetzenden Erkenntnisgewinn. Ausgehend von einem überblick vergleichender Forschung im Bereich mathematischer Unterrichtspraxis und ihrer Kritik werden in diesem Beitrag zunächst grundlegende Herausforderungen vergleichender Untersuchungen zu Unterrichtspraxis benannt. Dann argumentiere ich, dass und wie ein rekonstruktiver Ansatz das grundlegende Problem der Vergleichbarkeit von Unterrichtspraxis konstruktiv wenden kann. Am Beispiel meiner vergleichenden Untersuchungen zu unterrichtlichen Beweisprozessen zeige ich zudem die Bedeutung und Relevanz fachspezifischer vergleichender Rekonstruktionen von Unterrichtspraxis auf.
