Forschendes Lernen als Element praktischer Lehr-Lernkultur

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Forschendes Lernen war als „Entdeckendes Lernen“ oder in Form der von Wagenschein entwickelten „Genetischen Lehrweise“ schon immer Thema einer fächerübergreifenden unterrichtlichen Lehr-Lern-kultur. Der Beitrag arbeitet im Anschluss daran - mit Blick auf die aktuellen Bemühungen der Mathematikdidaktik um die Förderung der „Modellierungskompetenz“ von Lernenden - die methodische Struktur forschenden Lernens für den Unterricht auf verschiedenen Altersstufen heraus. Ebenso werden die Voraussetzungen seines Gelingens auf Schüler- und Lehrerseite beschrieben. An drei Beispielen wird die Praxis forschenden Lernens für verschiedene Fächer der Sekundarstufe illustriert, speziell auch für den Kunstunterricht. In einem kurzen Fazit wird die Wirkung des forschenden Lernens in dessen besonderen Möglichkeiten zur kognitiven Aktivierung der SchülerInnen gesehen.
