Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nach einer kurzen Beschreibung der zwei Hauptströmungen in der aktuellen feministischen Diskussion werden die Positionen zu Geschlechtsunterschieden in Mathematik thematisiert und kurz skizziert. Erklärungsansätze zu den kulturell bedingten Geschlechtsunterschieden in der mathematischen Leistung werden kurz aufgezählt. Schließlich wird die Rolle der Messmodelle bei der Auswertung von Testresultaten betont und das Nested-Faktormodell eingeführt. Die überraschenden Resultate der Auswertung anhand des Nested-Faktormodells der Tests von ca. 29.000 SchülerInnen bei der PISA-2000 Studie in Deutschland werden dargestellt und diskutiert.
