Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Mathematikdidaktik ist eine vergleichsweise junge Disziplin, deren wissenschaftlicher Charakter sich vor allem seit den 1960er Jahren entwickelt und profiliert hat (vgl. auch Kap. 20 und 21). Inzwischen zeichnet sich die Mathematikdidaktik durch eine große Vielfalt im Hinblick auf die Forschungsgegenstände und Forschungsziele aus. Trotz aller Ausdifferenzierungen ist der grundsätzliche Rahmen der mathematikdidaktischen Forschung aber wesentlich durch die übergeordnete Frage nach förderlichen Bedingungen für das Lehren und Lernen von Mathematik gekennzeichnet.
