Abstract

Zusammenfassung Welche Merkmale qualitativ hochwertigen Mathematikunterrichts auszeichnen, bemisst sich zunächst an den Ergebnissen des Unterrichts, also an seinen Auswirkungen auf die individuelle Entwicklung der Schülerinnen und Schüler. Hierbei stehen nicht allein kognitive Ergebnisse wie Wissen oder Fertigkeiten im Fokus, sondern auch affektiv-motivationale Faktoren wie das individuelle Selbstkonzept, Wertüberzeugungen zur Mathematik oder Formen der Lernmotivation. Erfolgreiches Lernen wird in der aktuellen Unterrichtsforschung aus kognitivistisch-konstruktivistischer Perspektive als ein aktiver, kumulativer und sozialer Prozess charakterisiert, bei dem Lernende aufbauend auf ihrem Vorwissen in ihrer Lerntätigkeit neues Wissen konstruieren oder ausdifferenzieren.
