Abstract

Zusammenfassung Institutionelle Veränderungen wie Fusionen, Verbundreformen oder strategische Neuausrichtungen prägen die Entwicklung von Regionalbanken seit Jahrzehnten. Diese Prozesse sind nicht nur organisatorische Herausforderungen, sondern haben unmittelbare Auswirkungen auf die Immobilienlandschaft. Gebäude werden in solchen Situationen zu Symbolen von Identität und Stabilität, zugleich aber auch zu Kostenfaktoren und Flexibilitätshebeln. Dieses Kapitel zeigt, wie Banken ihr Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) nutzen können, um institutionelle Veränderungen aktiv zu gestalten. Anhand von Praxisbeispielen werden Erfolgsfaktoren und Stolpersteine aufgezeigt, die von der Portfolio- und Standortstrategie über Systeme und Datenintegration bis hin zu Kultur- und Identitätsfragen reichen. Abbildungen und Best-Practice-Boxen verdeutlichen, dass Immobilien nicht nur die Folge, sondern auch Treiber institutioneller Veränderungen sind. Das Kapitel schließt mit strategischen Leitplanken, die Regionalbanken helfen, ihre Immobilien in Umbruchsituationen als Brücke zwischen Effizienz, Identität und Zukunftsfähigkeit einzusetzen.
