Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die zunehmende Komplexität und Dynamik im Tourismus erfordert eine zukunftsgerichtete Strategieentwicklung. Klassische Prognosen stoßen dabei oft an ihre Grenzen, da sie auf Vergangenheitsdaten basieren und unerwartete Entwicklungen nicht abbilden können. Zukunftsszenarien bieten eine Alternative, indem sie verschiedene mögliche Zukunftsbilder entwerfen und die Unsicherheit proaktiv einbeziehen. Im Kontext der Kundenzentrierung ermöglicht dies Unternehmen, nicht nur gegenwärtige, sondern auch zukünftige Bedürfnisse ihrer Zielgruppen besser zu verstehen. Erläutert werden die Wirkweise von Szenarien und der Einbezug von Kundenperspektiven zunächst anhand von Beispielen aus der bayerischen Tourismuswirtschaft. Anschließend werden spezifische Beispiele zur direkten Bewertung von Kundengruppenszenarien sowie zur Entwicklung von Future Personas vorgestellt.
