Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die in diesem Beitrag beschriebene Studie untersucht potenzielle Anwendungen des Metaverse im B2B-Vertrieb und identifiziert sechs Einsatzfelder: 3D-Produktpräsentationen, Verkaufs- und Beratungsgespräche, Anwenderschulungen, 3D-Selbstbedienungs-Onlineshops, Meeting- und Kollaborationsformate sowie virtuelle Messen. Durch Experteninterviews wird das Potenzial dieser Anwendungen bestätigt. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das Metaverse die Effizienz und Nachhaltigkeit im Vertrieb steigern, die Kundenbindung stärken und gleichzeitig Kosten reduzieren kann. Besonders bei komplizierten Produkten bietet das Metaverse durch immersive Technologien neue produktive Vertriebsmöglichkeiten. Die Studie liefert praxisrelevante Handlungsempfehlungen und hebt die Bedeutung von Know-how zum Metaverse hervor.
