Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mit der zunehmenden Nutzung von digitalen Geräten und Services kommt die Frage auf, welche Verantwortung Unternehmen gegenüber den Nutzerinnen und Nutzern haben. Während Social Media-Plattformen bereits Maßnahmen ergriffen haben, um ihrer digitalen Verantwortung (verstärkt) nachzukommen, befindet sich die Branche der Online-Games noch am Beginn der Reflektion über beeinflussende Techniken und Reduktion von Dark Patterns. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wird der Stand der Literatur zur digitalen Verantwortung bei Online-Games und zwei aktuelle Untersuchungen zur CDR-Verantwortung gegenüber Kindern vorgestellt.
