Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag zeigt, wie mithilfe des Strategic Optimized Data Approach (SODA) eine Customer Data Platform (CDP) aufgebaut werden kann, die weit über Marketinginitiativen hinaus auch Service-, Compliance- und Risikomanagement-Ziele unterstützt. SODA geht über klassisches Smart Data hinaus, indem es Datenquellen gezielt selektiert und strukturiert, sodass nur jene Informationen in die CDP gelangen, die tatsächlich Mehrwert schaffen. Auf diese Weise lassen sich Stammdaten, Transaktions-, Interaktions- und Analysedaten zu einem qualitätsgesicherten Golden Record zusammenführen. Ein Praxisbeispiel aus der Fertigungsindustrie verdeutlicht, wie sich Wartungsverträge automatisiert verlängern, Cross-Selling-Angebote ausspielen und regulatorische Vorgaben erfüllen lassen. Gleichzeitig werden zentrale Schritte wie Datenbereinigung, die Beseitigung von Dubletten und die Etablierung einheitlicher Datenprozesse beleuchtet. Abschließend fasst der Beitrag wesentliche Handlungsempfehlungen zusammen, um eine langfristig erfolgreiche CDP zu realisieren, die flexibel auf neue Anforderungen reagieren kann.
