Abstract

The support of mathematically gifted children and teenagers has a long tradition in Hamburg. More than 20 years ago, a concept for identifying and supporting mathematically gifted children of elementary school age was developed as part of the PriMa programme, which now continues up to and includes the tenth grade in PriSMa math circles. The posing of further leading problems has been part of the concept from the very beginning.
