Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit annähernd einem Vierteljahrhundert ist Frau Prof. Dr. Gabriele Kaiser Mitglied der Universität Hamburg. Am 01.04.1998 hat sie ihren Dienst als Professorin für Erziehungswissenschaft unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Didaktik der Mathematik im damaligen Fachbereich Erziehungswissenschaft angetreten und in den folgenden mehr als 20 Jahren ihren Arbeitsbereich und das Fach Erziehungswissenschaft in unterschiedlichen organisatorischen Gliederungen entscheidend geprägt. In ihrer Eigenschaft als Universitätsprofessorin sowie in vielfältigen Ämtern hat sie sich konsequent vor allen für die mathematikdidaktische und erziehungswissenschaftliche Forschung, die Förderung des Nachwuchses und die internationale Zusammenarbeit engagiert. In einigen dieser Funktionen durfte ich in den vergangenen Jahren eng mit ihr zusammenarbeiten und habe sie als eine ausnehmend gewissenhafte, entscheidungsfreudige und engagierte Kollegin kennen- und schätzen gelernt.
